Applegarth Framing is a bespoke
picture framing business run personally by Mary Evans in Repton, Derbyshire, since 1992. Mary undertakes
all types of framing, from simple certificates, all art on paper, needlework, and memorabilia to large oil portraits and valuable
paintings. She has a special interest in conservation and the preservation
of art on paper.
Mary is Chairman of the Fine Art Trade Guild's Framers Committee
and an examiner for the Guild Commended Framer (GCF), the Advanced GCF in Textiles and the Advanced GCF in Conservation.
Applegarth Framing produces high-quality work and prides itself on giving each customer a personal
and pleasurable experience. We think time spent choosing a frame and mounts is time well spent
as the customer will often live with the finished picture for many years.
Mary also offers picture
framing training courses which are accredited by the Fine Art Trade Guild.
